Hospitals

Miss Austin consults at The Plastic Surgery Suite, at Spire Methley Park Hospital.  Consultations are available every Tuesday (2pm – 7.30pm).  An appointment can either be requested by emailing Miss Austin or telephoning her secretary, Sera, on 01977 664230.

The Consultation

Your consultation is completely without obligation and you will receive Miss Austin’s expert advice as to the suitability of the proposed procedure(s).  Her opinion will be based upon an honest assessment of the options open and, to assist you with your decision, you will be provided with a verbal explanation of all the important considerations.  Further, you will have access to written guidance and information at the consultation.

Written advice & follow-up consultations

The advice provided in clinic will be supplemented by Miss Austin’s proposal letter, which serves to clarify the advice provided in clinic.  Should it be necessary, Miss Austin will provide a second, follow-up consultation which is without further cost.  Any outstanding queries or concerns may be addressed and, if appropriate, a convenient date for surgery may be booked.

Reassurance

 Methley Park  and Spire Elland are registered with the Health Care Commission (please see Useful Links page of this website) and is properly equipped with specialist Plastic Surgery resources.  You can be reassured that the hospital employs fully trained and highly experienced staff in both the medical and clinical disciplines, and this is augmented by their 24-7 [24-hour] in-hospital medical cover.  More importantly still, you have the safeguard of knowing that Miss Austin will be personally conducting your consultation, surgery and follow-up and will be available throughout your hospital stay (including the immediate post-operative period).  In the unlikely event of her absence, first-class cover will be available by way of her consultant Plastic Surgery colleagues at the hospital.
