Celebrating Success Awards:

Miss Austin and her team have been awarded the 'Patient Care Award' for excellence in provision of a first class service in  Breast Reconstruction in the NHS. This award was presented at a special awards ceremony  (The NHS Oscars)  by Paul Hudson of the BBC.

From the NHS website : 'Patient Care Award: Orla Austin, Consultant Plastic Surgeon and the rest of the Plastics Team for their work within breast reconstruction. The Plastics Team won this award for providing exceptional patient care and demonstrating that they not only treat patients with respect, dignity and compassion but their partners and families as well.
